Arthur Thomson won Gold at the European Masters Championships held in Hungary on Friday. He completed the M70 5 km Walk in 28m 40.47s to get the club contingent off to a grand start on the 2nd of the 10 days of competition.
John Browne followed up on Saturday with further success when he grabbed the Bronze medal in the M55 100m having qualified for the finals the previous day. His time was an excellent 12.27s in the Final.
Arthur made it a second Gold Medal on Sunday when he won the M70 2km Road Walk in 2 hrs 05 mins 00.8 secs.

LICC Meeting
The 3rd meeting of the LICC at Lee Valley produced a big turnout on both the track and field. The track races were rather patchy with a strong wind throughout the day which was a headwind for the sprints but there was some fine performances.
Martine Bomb won both Hurdles races to help the Womens team win the match.
Torema Thompson showed a return to form in the 100m after a short injury break, winning in fine style with a rejuvenated Rachel Telfer close behind - and Rachel also winning the 200m.
